How swatches, cloth by the metre, delivery and payment work — in a few lines each.
Ordering cloth
What is the smallest amount I can buy?
One metre of any fabric, in any colour, then half a metre at a time — up to 50 metres of any one colour online.
Are the prices per metre, and do they include GST?
Yes. Prices are per metre and include 5% GST, so the price you see is the price you pay. Delivery is added at checkout, and you see the total before you place your order.
Do I pay less if I buy more?
Yes. The rate per metre drops as the length goes up, down to the lowest rate at 50 m. Each colour is priced on its own length, and the price table on each fabric's page shows the rate for every length. Exactly 25 m, 10 m or 5 m takes the lower rate.

Can I buy more than 50 metres?
Yes. Past 50 metres of one colour we quote you directly, usually with a better rate and a lead time, within a working day.
Swatches
What is a swatch?
A swatch is a small piece of cloth to see and feel before you order. Plains, checks and stripes: ₹49 for each colour, up to 12 swatches in one order. Digital prints: the print's swatch card, with all its matching colours on one card, for ₹99.
Can I choose single colours of a print?
No — a print comes as its swatch card, which already shows all its colours (usually 2 or 3) side by side. It is one flat ₹99, however many colours are on it.
Is a swatch free?
Yes, when you buy the same cloth by the metre in the same order: a swatch of a plain, check or stripe is free with that colour, and a print's swatch card is free with any of its colours. Otherwise you pay for it, and that cost comes off your next cloth order once you have paid for it. Postage is not credited.
How many swatches can I order?
Up to 12 in one order — any mix of single swatches and swatch cards.
Delivery
How much is delivery?
Delivery on cloth is ₹99, and free when the cloth in your order is ₹2,500 or more. Swatches on their own are posted for ₹49; with cloth they travel free.
How long will it take?
Cloth and swatches are cut and dispatched within 2–4 working days, and courier transit is usually 2–7 days depending on your PIN code.
Do you deliver all over India?
Yes, we ship to every part of India.
Payment and invoices
How can I pay?
Cash on delivery: you pay the courier when your parcel arrives, and nothing is charged before then. Paying online with UPI and cards is on its way.
Will I get a GST invoice?
Yes, with every order. If you want it in your business's name, add your GSTIN at checkout.
Returns and changes
Can I return cloth?
Uncut, unwashed cloth in its original condition can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Swatches cannot be returned, but their cost comes off your next cloth order.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes — any time before it is dispatched. If you have already paid, you get a full refund; if you have not paid yet, there is nothing to pay. Write to us with your order number as soon as you can.
The colour looks different from my screen. Is that normal?
Screens differ, and dyes vary slightly between batches. That is exactly what swatches are for: hold one in daylight before you order the length you need.
Anything else
Can I get my own design printed on cloth?
Not yet. The self-serve Design Studio is being finished; leave your email on its page and we will tell you the day it opens.
